Meet your Doula
MY STORYHaley was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Syracuse, New York in 2021. On her very first morning in her new home, she discovered she was unexpectedly pregnant with her first baby. Her prenatal and birth experience didn’t go as she had hoped — she often reflects on how much a doula’s support could have changed things.
When Haley became pregnant with her second baby in 2023, she knew she wanted to do things differently. She chose a home birth and welcomed the support of a doula — and everything unfolded beautifully. That transformative experience opened her eyes to the power of supported, informed, and intuitive birth, and she knew she had found her calling.
Since then, Haley has immersed herself in the world of birthwork, completing multiple trainings through BADT (Birthing Advocacy Doula Training) and Women’s Choice Perinatal Services, and engaging in two mentorships with seasoned doulas. Her journey from birth to birthworker is one rooted in growth, healing, and a deep desire to ensure every family feels held, informed, and supported through their own sacred experiences.
